    Expect A Bike

Cronin created the piece Expect A Bike in support of Gabby O'Shea, a beloved community member in the Hudson Valley who was struck by a vehicle while riding her bike in the Gunks by a hit and run driver. Although Gabby sustained major injuries, her will to live pushed her to the other side and she pulled through. The painting, along with t-shirts sporting the image, were sold as part of a fundraiser to support Gabby in her recovery and to encourage effective dialogue between motorist and cyclist. The piece is now owned by the physical therapist Sloane Stecker, with offices in Lincoln Square, NYC, Westchester, NY, and Palm Springs Florida. Sloane himself is an avid cyclist and he plans to hang the piece in his NY office.
