Look No Hands

48" x 48" Oil On Board
A contemporary depiction of a vintage Schwinn Bicycle, Look No Hands is a visually exciting work. Existing as the dominant manufacturer of American bicycles throughout most of the twentieth century, the Schwinn Bicycle company reached its height of industry control in the 1950s. The structure represents a classic model of manufacturing and is suggestive of classic renderings of Americana— a subject that Ryan explores extensively in his practice.
